Recess Control

Due to the complex geometry of a recess and the difficult illumination situation, it's difficult for optical systems to check recesses precisely and thoroughly. SurCh-Sc offers a new approach and the possibility to check the entire recess without hidden regions.

As an example, the following pictures show two different inner-torx-screws and their images as seen by SurCh-Sc.

The original screew is depicted on the left side, and error-free version is displayed in the center and the right picture shows a typical damage, either caused by a broken stamp or dirt).

Other recess shaes can be meaured as well, e.g outer torx, cross-recess or inner hexagon.
