Checking for head cracks

The established method to find head cracks is the eddy-current measurement, with its well-known disadvantages, i.e. difficult setup (trial-and-error), limited throughput and high price.

SurCh-Sc is a valuable alternative for visible head-cracks, as demonstrated in the next pictures.

The previous pictures show the typical signature of a head crack.
On the left side you see the measured screws, while the right side display the screw-heads as seen by the QuaVis system. The crack can be detected fast and reliably.

The following images show the output of already installed production-systems .
